Description:

The sqrtsp function returns the square root function of a real floating-point argument a. The return value is the square root value of a.

Parameters:

[in]

a

= Input float

Returns:

Resultant float

Special Cases:

• If a <= 0, the return value is 0.0 for C/Inline/Vector.
• If a <= 0, the return value is NaN or sqrt(|a|) for Asm.
