- The sqrtsp function returns the square root function of a real floating-point argument a. The return value is the square root value of a.
- Parameters:

- Resultant float
- Special Cases:
- If a <= 0, the return value is 0.0 for C/Inline/Vector.
- If a <= 0, the return value is NaN or sqrt(|a|) for Asm.
